Jody is a painter and musician living in Portland, Oregon, USA. Jody states, “Having made art and music for as long as I can remember, I continue to explore and build my repertoire in both mediums. Although each has unique qualities, the two are fully intertwined, compliment one another and together inspire, inform and feed each other throughout the work.”

Her paintings often reflect recurring themes which are interpreted and reinterpreted over time. These themes include family and ancestral lines, nature's organic beauty, the human "organization" of nature, the evolution of humankind from a cultural and spiritual perspective, among others.
