We are tickled pink with the outcome of a recent framing project at High Desert Frameworks! as well as honored to be selected to frame this years 2011 Jubelale artwork from Deschutes Brewery. If you aren't familiar with the holiday release then you should at least enjoy the fruits of their labor and pop one! After all … It's more than just a holiday brew but rather a tradition and the kick off celebration of the upcoming winter and holiday seasons. And back in September of 2011 their press release announced such event!
Deschutes Brewery will soon perform an annual holiday season ritual: the releasing of Jubelale, its festive winter seasonal ale. Jubelale, the first beer ever bottled by Deschutes Brewery, epitomizes the season with a big malty, spicy, sweetness, an assertive hop presence, and a welcome, warming alcohol temperament. A new regional artist is commissioned every year to create an original work of art, inspired by Jubelale, to be transformed into label and packaging art.
The collaborative art of Central Oregon artists Cara Thayer and Louie Van Patten adorns the label in 2011. Their work explores a ‘painted dialogue of human forms.’ They focus specifically on the hand and how it illustrates the human condition. The artists wanted to capture the essence of Jubelale from within this framework.
And why does this matter? Two reasons:
One: Besides a great beer for the holidays with wonderful art from Central Oregon artists it's a long standing Central Oregon tradition and event!
And
Two: We custom frame some great works of art for many private and corporate collectors and we were thrilled to be selected to do the customer framing honors for the original artwork. To be really honest – We had a blast with the custom picture framing of the Original Artwork for the 2011 Deschutes Brewery Jubelale this year. And we think it turned out spectacular!
The 33” x 29” custom framing is 100% archival with the the use of only finest quality product and like the 
same quality that goes into brewing Deschutes Brewery beer! The three fine crafted wood mouldings are from Roma, Max Moulding and Larson Juhl with the art protected with Museum glass and backed with conservation framing techniques.
