High Desert Frameworks! Features Paul Alan Bennett and Cristina Acosta Friday July 3, for “Oregon by the Dozen.”

High Desert Frameworks! in Downtown Bend, Oregon will participate in a special event this Friday, July 3, called "Oregon by the Dozen."  The gallery will feature work by Cristina Acosta and Paul Alan Bennett for a silent auction event benefiting Arts Central Educational &
Resource Center.

The Bend Gallery Association's “Oregon by the Dozen”
fundraiser for Arts Central kicks off during the July 3, 2009 First
Friday Gallery Walk, with month-long bidding, followed by the group exhibit and auction
finale on August 7 at the Arts Central Educational & Resource
Center, located in the historic Goodwillie-Allen-Rademacher House
(formerly Mirror Pond Gallery) in downtown Bend.

In conjunction with the Oregon 150 – a year-long celebration of our state's
150 birthday – communities host events that honor the people,
places and organizations that have been – and continue to be -
sources of inspiration and discovery. For 15 years, Arts Central
operated Mirror Pond Gallery before closing
its doors. Recent events may have altered the face, but certainly
not the cultural value that Arts Central provides to our Central
Oregon community, and High Desert Frameworks! is honored to be able
to participate in this fund raiser directly benefiting the new Arts
Central Educational & Resource Center, located at 875 NW Brooks
Street, Bend, Oregon 97701.
