July 3, from 2 to 6pm. The artist reception will be held at High Desert
Gallery, 281 W Cascade Avenue at Oak , Sisters, Oregon. Meet Jean and Trisha, enjoy
live music with Doug and Katie Cavanaugh, refreshments and more during this popular Sisters Outdoor
Quilt Show Event.

About Jean Wells: The 2010 Quilt Show Theme, “Inspired
Journey,” is beautifully represented by Jean Wells-Keenan's quilts
that feature the familiar elements of the Central Oregon landscape.
Jean Wells-Keenan, show founder, author, shop owner and quilting
inspiration to thousands, will have her first ever gallery showing at
High Desert Gallery in Sisters during the 2010 Sisters Quilt Show and
have her quilts featured on the annual Quilt Show Poster.
About Trisha Hassler: Lifetime quilter and award winning Oregon artist, Trisha Hassler has enjoyed numerous group and one person exhibits throughout the United States and New Zealand. Trisha embraces both torch-cut steel and improvisational quilt construction and through her artistic abilities combines the two mediums into one art form even though the two parts are considered at opposite ends of the artistic spectrum. Her work is known for it's intricacy and surface detail and the use of the dissimilar elements has become her trademark. Trisha Hassler's artwork is available exclusively in Central Oregon at High Desert Gallery in Bend and Sisters, Oregon.
The Around the Block Fiber Arts Stroll is a Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show community event with over 30 locations, and High Desert Gallery is a presenting sponsor. We are honored to host Jean Wells and Trisha Hassler at this special event.
