July is Filled with Special Events – Plan on Attending in Sisters Oregon

July is Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show Season and High
Desert Gallery has filled the month with exhibitions and artist
receptions you won't want to miss. From July 3rd to July 11th the
Gallery will be keeping extended hours throughout Quilt Show Week to meet your needs, open 10am
to 7pm or later daily, including special 10am to 3-ish hours on July
4, 2010. Come celebrate with us!

Here is a rundown of what's planned at
our High Desert Gallery, located at 281 W. Cascade Avenue in
downtown Sisters, Oregon.

Gallery Artist Receptions - July 2010

Fiber Arts Stroll - Saturday July 3rd,
2010.

This is a community event with over 30 locations and High
Desert Gallery is the presenting sponsor of the event. We will be
hosting an Artist Reception for Trisha Hassler and Jean Wells from 2
to 6pm. Jean Wells is the founder of the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show and The Stitchin' Post, and the Poster Artist for 2010, and Trisha Hassler

This event features the fused
glass artistry of Jenelle Lynn Kathan and includes an Artist
Reception/Open House on Friday, July 9, from 1 to 6pm. Meet the
artist, enjoy refreshments and collect great art!

Artist Reception - Thursday July 8th, 2010.

Enjoy another
opportunity to meet Jean Wells at this Artist Reception, including
live music by Katie Cavanaugh, wine and refreshments. Jean Wells is a nationally recognized instructor, quilter, business woman, the founder of the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show and The
Stitchin' Post, and the Poster Artist for 2010. In 2010 Jean will be inducted into the
Quilters
Hall of Fame in Marion, Indiana. Read more about
